Beer Bread?

I have a 1.5cu refridgerator in my office at work, in which I keep a small package of lunchmeat, cheese, and mustard so that I can eat a cheap lunch on days that I don’t bring a lunch from home.

Today, I got a couple slices of bread out to make a sandwich. The bread had been sitting on the refridgerator for a number of days, so I inspected it for mold. I didn’t see any. But…the bread did seem a little more moist than usual, and I noticed that it smelled like beer. Not the entire slice; just the crust. Like beer. Seriously.

Unsuprisingly, the bread has a slight hint of beer in the taste as well.
